➕ NEW SONGS! 🎵🎶

Biological breakthrough: microbes form small rows and swim to the rhythm of the music!

You control the microbe in the middle: use space bar, mouse click or touch to propel forward with your tiny limbs.

Timing is key: move at the right time or you'll bump into the other microbes! When you hear a "ding" sound, swim for three consecutive beats.

Keep up with the microbe's little march till the end of the song as they power up the cell!

This is a remake of the Micro Row rhythm game from Rhythm Heaven, made with the LittleJS game engine.

I recreated the microbe art & animation from scratch, however I do not take credit for the original microbe design, which is property of Nintendo.

All the music is plundered from Bassoon tracker and various corners of the web. Credits with links to the original songs are included in the game.

i think i got how the game works, but idk, playing this game is just pressing space on a pretty inconsistent click pattern (i'm not listening the music btw). The weird things don't give any indicator to when they will move, and missing for a few milisseconds the click makes you start bumping crazily into the other weird things. This game is kinda hard, so i think an easier mode to help beginners would help

Thanks for playing! On that last point, I'm working on a tutorial level right now. Hearing the music is crucial to understanding the click pattern, so if you didn't hear anything it was definitely a bug.

I'm still figuring out the math behind the bumping mechanic, it should put the player back in the exact center of the row while taking the beat into account; this is currently not the case and it breaks the whole gameplay unfortunately :\

My entry is still very much buggy and half-baked, but I hope you'll give it another shot after I add the tutorial and a bit more structure in the next few days.
